INDIC VAARICOM Surface Station

The INDIC Vaaricom is a hardwired underwater communication system engineered to provide clear, dependable voice contact between divers and surface personnel. Built around a compact, self-contained surface station, the system can be configured for one or two divers, with in-built provision for expansion to accommodate up to six divers. The system offers a battery runtime of up to 24 hours, supporting extended dive operations without interruption.

Vaaricom integrates the surface station, diver ear-mic assembly, communication cable and purpose-built cable management solutions into a complete underwater communication platform.

Engineered for demanding military and professional diving applications, Vaaricom offers multiple diver communication configurations for integration with a range of full-face masks and diving helmets.

  • MILITARY-GRADE TESTED:
    Developed and tested to meet demanding military requirements, providing a proven communication platform for critical underwater applications.
  • MULTI-DIVER COMMUNICATION:
    Compact, self-contained surface station configured for one or two divers, with in-built provision for expansion to accommodate up to six divers.
  • SURFACE COMMUNICATION HEADSET:
    Deluxe surface headset with integrated boom microphone, designed for improved voice clarity and incorporating noise-reduction capability.
  • DIVER EARPHONE & MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY:
    Salt water-resistant and pressure-resistant communication assembly engineered for reliable diver-to-surface contact, with configurations available for integration with various full-face masks and diving helmets.
  • INTEGRATED COMMUNICATION CABLE:
    Rugged rope incorporating four specially configured communication wires for reliable diver-to-surface connectivity, with a breaking strength of 1,200 kgf (approximately 11.8 kN). Available by the metre or in standard 50 m, 75 m and 100 m lengths, with connectors configured to requirement.
  • BONE-CONDUCTOR COMMUNICATION OPTION:
    Bone-conductor earphones transmit received audio through vibrations, providing an alternative to conventional in-ear audio. Paired with a throat microphone, the configuration provides an alternative diver communication solution for specialised applications.
  • EXTENDED BATTERY OPERATION:
    Provides up to 24 hours of runtime, supporting long-duration missions and extended dive operations.
